At the laboratory of Asklepios Klinik Bad Oldesloe, two uLab Mobile robots work in the middle of daily operations — alongside the team during the day, on their own at night. No special enclosure, no separate zone: the robots use the same routes as their human colleagues and operate the same instruments.
This is where lab automation is really decided. Not whether a robot can technically perform a task, but whether it performs it reliably for weeks without anyone having to step in at night. In most laboratories capacity is not the problem — staff is.
The video shows two and a half minutes of real operation: sample handling, instrument connectivity, handovers. No rendering, no studio shoot.
uLab Mobile is part of the uLab technology platform. Systems can be purchased or rented as Robot-as-a-Service; operating data stays in your building.
