United Robotics Group presents AI applications in Machine Learning and Deep Learning across robot portfolio at World AI Cannes Festival (WAICF) 2024

 Cannes, February 7th, 2024 – Invited to participate by World AI Cannes Festival organizers, Corp Agency and media partner "Planète Robots", United Robotics Group will showcase AI applications in robotics for education and workplaces for the first time at the 2024 WAICF in Cannes.

Social robots Pepper and NAO provide optimal platform for AI learning in classrooms

NAO coupled with Jupyter Notebook are an easy-to-use browser for teachers and students to program the robot from beginner to machine learning stages of programming. NAO is also compatible with LLM integration (like ChatGPT) taking customization and interactivity to a new level in programming education. Today, more than 13,000 NAO robots are being used in classrooms around the world and NAO is considered the platform of choice for humanoid robotics learning.

 Connected to Open IA or others LLM, Pepper can now interact with even more natural conversations and bring the power of GPT into a robotic body, very easily.

Plato Follow-Me software demonstrates embedded AI capabilities

Plato, United Robotics Group’s first cobiot developed with Aldebaran, now features the “Follow-Me” mode that uses SICK LIDAR sensors and 2D/3D sensors data to efficiently navigate fast-moving environments and support staff in the hospitality and food services sectors. Data fusion and the onboard neural network inference enhance on-device machine learning and computer vision, powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon, necessary for the cobiot to assist and follow human staff without disengaging is safety mechanisms.
