United Robotics Group is thrilled to announce its participation in RoboCup 2023, the esteemed international competition for robotics and artificial intelligence. This year, the event will be held in the beautiful city of Bordeaux, France, from July 4th to July 10th at the Parc des Expositions de Bordeaux.

RoboCup is a prestigious platform that brings together the brightest minds in the field of robotics, promoting research, development, and collaboration in autonomous robots. The competition's primary objective is to develop humanoid robots capable of playing soccer autonomously, with the ultimate goal of defeating the human World Cup champions by 2050. However, RoboCup encompasses much more than just soccer, with various leagues and challenges focused on rescue missions, industrial automation, home assistance, and more.

As a proud participant in RoboCup, United Robotics Group will showcase its expertise and cutting-edge innovations in multiple leagues. One of our major sponsorships is in the Soccer Standard Platform League, where teams utilize the NAO robot as the standardized platform for competition. This league allows us to focus on developing advanced software algorithms and strategies, pushing the boundaries of robotic soccer without the need for building physical robots from scratch.

Additionally, our involvement extends to the RoboCup@Home Education Challenge Junior League, which serves as an educational initiative to foster participation and service robot development. This league acts as a bridge between the Major @Home league and RoboCup Junior, providing a platform for junior teams to gain experience and prepare for higher-level competitions.

Another significant league we are participating in is the RoboCup@Home Social Standard Platform Major League. Here, all teams use the Pepper robot platform to develop service and assistive robot technologies with a focus on personal domestic applications. We are excited to demonstrate our advancements in service robotics and assistive technologies during the event.
