Why orientation ties up staff

Directions explained a hundred times a day

In every hospital, the way to radiology is explained a hundred times a day — by people trained to care for people.

Minutes nobody bills

Wayfinding assistance appears in no statistic and no service catalogue — but it adds up to positions nobody can fill right now.

Pilot scope instead of promises

Trio navigates in mapped, approved areas — reliably, politely and the same in every shift. The scope is defined together beforehand.

How uMe Trio gets into your organisation

Initial consultation and pilot area

Define building areas, routes, network and data protection — the pilot scope is fixed together and bindingly.

Mapping and configuration

Recording of maps, destinations and skills. Purchase or rental as Robot-as-a-Service — the delivered scope of functions is fixed in the quotation.

Delivery in around eight weeks

Set-up, training and start via uGo+ — with defined destinations and wayfinding from day one.

What uMe Trio is — and what it is not

Your robot. Your data. Four principles.

What Trio adds

uMe Trio extends Duo with the LiDAR navigation package. The robot maps its environment, localises itself within it and guides people to a destination – within defined pilot scope.

  • Mapping and localisation – recording and maintaining maps of defined areas.

  • Guidance – accompanying visitors and patients to ward, reception or waiting area.

  • Safe movement – sensor fusion of LiDAR, camera and IMU, collision avoidance.

The extended autonomy level is in development; the delivered scope is defined bindingly in the quotation.

Shared foundation

  • Voice interaction via circular 6-microphone array and speaker

  • Integrated display for content and prompts

  • Teleoperation and guided use with a human in control

  • uGo+ readiness: skills, workflows and permissions configurable without programming

  • LED status ring shows the charge state: normal operation, charge soon, critical

  • 23 degrees of freedom, NVIDIA AGX Orin up to 200 TOPS, perception processed on the device

  • Approx. 6 hours of operation, 48 V charging station, IP43, CE per 2006/42/EC and ISO 13482
