Aldebaran, a former French gem that passed through the hands of the Japanese Softbank before being bought by the German United Robotics Group , is refining its strategy.

The first Nao robots were marketed in 2008 by the German brand United Robotics Group. Six generations of robots have followed one another and 15,000 units have been sold.

With the waiter's apron put away, it is in a more industrial look, all in gray, that the new robot from Aldebaran , a French robotics company bought two years ago by the German United Robotics Group, is being presented at the Vivatech show.

Present at the VivaTech Show, Aldebaran is developing service robots designed to make the workload easier for employees. This market is expected to record annual growth of 38% between 2023 and 2026 according to the International Federation of Robotics.

United Robotics Group said uLink is is available with an integrated development environment (IDE), software development kit (SDK), and fleet management tools. The company said it is its “first cobiot with an open API, increasing connectivity and flexibility.”

United Robotics Group has developed a new series of mobile service robots that are characterized by easy integration, flexible adaptation and individual extensions.
